Includes on-the-water towing, jump starts, fuel drops, prop disentanglements, and soft ungroundings. Membership includes service to all recreational boats you own, borrow and charter.

Towing at Sea*
Complete service (100%) from a breakdown at sea to your port of choice, up to the towing service level you've selected.

Towing from the Dock*
Complete service (100%) from a restricted use dock to a repair facility. After the first 30 days of Membership or any towing upgrade limited service (50%) from other docks, up to the towing service level you've selected.

Towing Costs
Most commercial towing companies charge by the hour, from the time they leave their dock until the time they return. Depending on day, night, or weather conditions, charges can run over $150 per hour.

Ungroundings
Complete service for soft ungroundings, up to the towing service level you selected. In some cases, in addition to running time charges, towers often charge up to $11.00 per foot of your vessel length to pull you free.

Largest Fleet
BoatU.S. offers the largest number of ports and available towing vessels. Over 400 approved boats are waiting to assist you around the clock.

Unlimited Towing
If you like your boating to be truly worry-free. Unlimited Towing is the way to go! At only $105 a year you get Unlimited Towing for breakdowns at sea and at restricted use docks within a TowBoatU.S. service area and up to $1,000 per incident outside the service area.

The TowBoatU.S. Service area provides for 25 miles from the TowBoatU.S. home port.

*All towing services are paid up to the selected towing level you have at the time of breakdown. All service must be provided by TowBoatU.S. or dispatched by BoatU.S. Dispatch Services.
